This week
some members of the Art with Heart Team are creating with Shaded Spruce,
as part of the Weekly Colour Creations Blog Hop.
Unlike last week, there are many colours to be found in my card this week thanks to the patterned paper I have used - Regency Park DSP.
I have pulled two of the DSP colours (Shaded Spruce and Mango Melody) for the mats, label, and stamped/die cut images.
The stamped flower cluster and greeting are from
the Sentimental Park stamp set. The flower cluster is cut using a coordinating
die from the Sentimental Park dies.
The single flower and stem/leaves are also cut using a die from the same set, as is the Basic White and Shaded Spruce label.
There are actually a few layers on this card, - the cardbase, two mats for the DSP (Mango Melody and Basic White), the
raised Basic White label, (matted with Shaded Spruce) and the flowers/greeting - so I have used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals!
A Mango Melody Adhesive-Backed Milky Dot has been placed
in the center of the single flower, with a couple more on the Basic White
label.
The inside of the card has been decorated using a strip of Regency Park DSP and a strip of Mango Melody cardstock, mimicking the front of card panels, albeit only a single one.
Clicking on the icon below will take you to Kathryn Mangelsdorf who is next on our Blog Hop. I can't wait to see what she has made!

Gorgeous card, Fiona, I love the way your die cut pieces reflect the DSP. Shaded Spruce and Mango Melody look amazing together.
ReplyDeleteYour card is delightful! The strips of the bright, happy DSP are fantastic, and I love the layering over the top. The floral cluster is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely card Fiona and a great use of the lovely paper. I especially love the single flower you created using the other paper.
ReplyDeleteI am loving all those layers, Fiona, with the three strips of DSP to the 3 embellishments. The flowers are sweet and great to show them stamped and the other die cuts. Great use of a product suite!
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely colour combo Fiona, and one I wouldn't have thought to put together until I saw the DSP. Great card, and I love how you chose to echo the front of the card on the inside too.
ReplyDeleteLovely way to showcase this beautiful paper, and Shaded Spruce, Fiona. Your card is delightful. :)
ReplyDeleteThis DSP makes using Shaded Spruce oh so easy with coordinating your stamp image and die cut with the same colours.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card Fiona. I love the way you have brought the DSP to life by replicating the flowers on the label with the sentiment. All your layering adds a special touch and brings it all together. xxx
ReplyDeleteWow! The paper really makes an impact but most of all, I love the tiny flowers you added to your label.
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely to see someone else showcase the same paper in such a different way Fiona. I love the addition of the diecut flowers. A very pretty card.
