This week
some members of the Art with Heart Team are creating with Sahara Sand,
as part of the Weekly Colour Creations Blog Hop.
I’ve been very minimalistic with colour, using only Sahara Sand and Basic Black.
The DSP is from He’s the Man and is matted
with thin Basic Black borders.
The greeting is from the He’s All That stamp
set. It is stamped in Basic Black and cut using a die from the All That
dies. Its hard to tell in the photo, but it has been clear embossed. The greeting is adhered to a matted “diamond”
using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I felt that something was missing from the card, so I added two “photo corners” from the Fabulous Frames dies to the top of the card to - you know - "frame" it 😊
The inside of the card has been decorated using the
photo corner Dies, like on the front of the card, but this time I placed them
at the bottom.
Clicking on the icon below will take you to Rachel Woollard who is next on our Blog Hop. I can't wait to see what she has made!

My monochrome heart loves this card, Fiona. It's so brilliantly designed troo, with the mix of graphic shapes and layers of different DSP.
ReplyDeleteOoh, this is so cool! I love all the layers, and the black was a fabulous choice to use with Sahara Sand. Love it!
ReplyDeleteEven though you have been minimalist Fiona your card is a fabulous male card featuring the He's The Man bundle beautifully. Theresa
ReplyDeleteA great card, Fiona. Those photo corner frames are great and love how you carried them over to the inside. The different DSPs matted with Black is a great choice.
ReplyDeleteFiona a fabulous masculine card to showcase this DSP and Sahara San in layers.
ReplyDeleteFiona, this is a great masculine card. Your choice of DSP, Sahara Sand and Basic Black were a terrific combination.
ReplyDeleteThe photo corners do really help finish the 'picture' and love the central diamond supporting your message.
ReplyDeleteFiona I do love a monochromatic card and yours is fabulous. The pops of black are just right and a great contrast to the Sahara Sand. All the layers make for a very interesting card.
ReplyDeleteGreat, crisp, graphic design, Fiona. I like how you placed the photo corners on the front and inside of your card - nicely balanced!
