This week some members of the Art with Heart Team are creating with Real Red, as part of the Weekly Colour Creations Blog Hop.
The other colours I've used this week are Basic White, Blushing Bride, Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green and Pumpkin Pie.
The Blushing Bride DSP panel is from the Dainty Flowers DSP which was available in the Sale-a-bration Catalogue that finished yesterday. It's matted with Real Red Cardstock, which is then adhered to a Basic White mat.
I've used the Nested Friends stamp set for this card. I have stamped the branch in Crumb Cake and then coloured it using Crumb Cake and Granny Apple Green Blends. The greeting (from the same stamp set), is stamped in Real Red. I then used the Layering Circles Dies to cut out the stamped images and a Real Red mat.
I stamped the bird in Black Memento Ink and coloured it using Crumb Cake, Real Red and Pumpkin Pie Blends. The bird is cut out using the coordinating Nested Friends Dies. I also cut out a few leaves in Granny Apple Green.
There is a little bit of bling with the addition of the Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
The inside of the card has been decorated using strips of the DSP and Real Red Cardstock to sort of mimic the front of the card.
