This week some members of the Art with Heart Team are showcasing Pumpkin Pie. I don't use this colour much nowadays, so I must admit this was a challenge, especially as I didn't have any DSP to use as a background.
But I rose to the challenge and created my own background by blending Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz and Balmy Blue onto Basic White cardstock.
I then grabbed a wet paint brush and tapped so that droplets fell on the blended cardstock. You can see the result here.
I then stamped my greeting (from the Charming Sentiments stamp set) in Black Memento Ink directly onto the blended cardstock..
I used images from the Artistically Inked stamp set and matching Artistic Dies to make the flowers. The large flower is stamped in Pumpkin Pie and the two smaller flowers are stamped in So Saffron with a touch of Pumpkin Pie dabbed on the stamp before stamping.
The leaves are from the same stamp set and in Pear Pizzazz. I'm so glad there are matching dies for Artistically Inked - no fussy cutting on this card!
The large flower has a so saffron center and is raised using Stampin' Dimensionals. I've also added a little bit of Pumpkin Pie Twine behind it.
And you can see how I decorated the inside of the card here!
