AWH Colour Creations Showcase - Week 5: Blushing Bride

Welcome to another week of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase. This week participating team members are creating with Blushing Bride.

My card starts with a Blushing Bride card base and a Basic Black Mat, cut just a bit smaller than the card base.

I then added a piece of In Good Taste DSP, stamped with the leaf from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Pear Pizzazz. The stamped DSP was then embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder and spritzed with Frost White Shimmer Paint (mixed with Rubbing Alcohol in a Stampin' Spritzer). It's a bit hard to tell in the photo, but IRL the spritzing has created a lovely sheen over the DSP, that is more noticeable at different angles as the light hits it.

The daisies are stamped in both Versamark and Blushing Bride so I could heat emboss them with Clear Embossing Powder. They were cut out using the Daisy and Medium Daisy punches. I used Pearl Basic Jewels of two different sizes in the centres. The large daisy is raised on Stampin' Dimensionals

The basic black leaves are left over from Friday nights project (partly inspired by one of our very own - Vicki Boucher - you can see Friday night's card here).

The greeting is from Good Morning Magnolia and is stamped in Memento Black on Whisper White, embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder and then spritzed with Frost White Shimmer Paint. Did you notice that I  also spritzed the Basic Black leaves?

The insert has a strip of the DSP, embossed and spritzed.

I hope you like my card featuring Blushing Bride. Click here to see the list of other Art with Heart team members to see what they have created for you this week.

Thank you so much for stopping by, and I hope you can drop by next Wednesday night for another Colour Creations Showcase.
