Stamp Out Type 1 Diabetes

On Saturday we help our Stamp Out Diabetes Fundraiser to raise funds for a cure for TYPE 1 DIABETES.

My daughter Alisha was just thrilled – we raised $1,535 for her JDRF Walk team – "Alisha's Angels" so she is now only $900 short of her target.

Over 50 people attended. They made 5 papercraft projects, had a scrumptious afternoon tea and won door prizes & raffle prizes. Everyone enjoyed it so much we will most probably be holding the event again next year.

This fundraiser would not have been possible without the help of some very good stamping friends who I only got to know once I became a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. Marlene, Jodie, Joy and Tahnee are 4 very special ladies and I am so grateful to have them in my life!

I must also give thanks to:

Stampin' Up Australia
Fern Gully Stamps, Fern Tree Gully
Allans Bakery, Kilsyth
Bakers Delight, Croydon
Tulky's Cafe & Bar, Mooroolbark
Switchback Hair Studio, Chirnside Park
Coles, Chirnside Park,
Safeway, Chirnside Park
Terry White Chemist, Chirnside Park

And everyone who came and made the day the success it was!

THANK YOU

  2. Anytime Buddy, I had fun helping and hopefully we won't have to do it again....we will find a cure instead, but we can do it for another cause then. Love Marls
